The Iowa Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition is juried by an artist who is a member of a recognized society, such as American Watercolor Society (AWS) or National Watercolor Society (NWS). Past jurors have included nationally recognized watercolor artists, such as Irving Shapiro, Chicago: Nita Engle, Marquette, IL; Frank Webb, Pittsburgh; Maxine Masterfield, Sarasota FL; Cheng-Khee Chee, Duluth; Frederick Wong, New York; Judi Betts, Baton Rouge, LA; Margaret Martin, Buffalo, NY; William A. Herring, Clint, TX; Don Andrews, Exeter. NH; Betty Lynch, Midland, TX; Linda Doll, San Diego, CA. Cash Awards: Decisions on awards are made by the same juror viewing the actual artworks. This year's cash awards total $2,400.00. The cash awards are given during the Annual Luncheon. This year's Juror/Instructor is Stephen Quiller. |
