You are cordially invited to join the Iowa Watercolor Society!

The only requirement is a love for the art of watercolor painting. Enjoy the distinction of being associated with one of the most progressive art organizations in the state of Iowa.

Activities of the Iowa Watercolor Society include publication of a newsletter to inform, share interests, and coordinate arrangements for regional workshops.

I.W.S. also sponsors an annual juried exhibition of high standards, including monetary awards, and arranges workshops taught by nationally-recognized instructors in the fall. Past instructors have included well-known watercolorist such as Frank Webb, Barbara Nechis, Maxine Masterfield, Frederick Wong, Judi Betts, Margaret Martin, Bill Herring, John Salminen, Tony van Hasselt and Don Andrews. Our 2007 Juror/Instructor is Mary Ann Beckwith, and our 2008 Juror/Instructor is Steven Quiller.
